Each year, Producer Members are encouraged to submit as many entries for the awards program as they deem appropriate. The Design Competition Committee arranges for a panel of architects to review the entries and choose two winners. The architect/designer and the Producer Member of the winning projects are awarded plaques during the Institute1s Fall Awards Banquet.

This committee also develops and conducts seminars for architectural students, and other industry related organizations. In addition, the committee is charged with developing and writing articles about Cast Stone for industry periodical publications.
